Seabank Tank farm
Seabank Tank Farm was a World War I and World War II oil storage depot located in the middle of the coastal town of Invergordon, in Easter Ross.
Invergordon played a crucial strategic role in both World Wars due to its deep natural harbour on the Cromarty Firth. In WWI, it transformed into a significant Royal Navy base, with its population swelling to accommodate thousands of personnel and dockyard workers. It provided vital fuel and repair services and saw the tragic loss of HMS Natal.
As part of LVII, four Photographers; Rhys Campbell(Myself), Roddy McKenzie, Rory Troup, and Shona Graham-Taylor, explored the space, collectively and separately, before, during and after the demolition of the site
